RFID

What is RFID.

The radio frequency identification or RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) is an identification technology based distance radio waves.

The basic system is comprised of a reader that communicates via an antenna with a tag. The tag to be “interrogated” transmits its information back to the reader. The information received by readers is then sent to a database where it can be managed and analyzed.

This technology has evolved and today is part of our daily lives. The most common uses are for access control, public transportation systems, automated payment systems in road (Teletac) and control of stores and loads.

Radio frequency identification, or RFID for short in English (radio frequency identification) is a technology and wireless remote identification in which a reader or reader linked to a computer equipment, communicates via a transponder antenna (also known as tag or label) using radio waves.

IRS Robotics offers the widest range of solutions in terms of data collection and processing using RFID technology. The systems offered are designed to withstand the rigors of any environment and offer maximum security, protecting the confidentiality and integrity of data and your network.

As an example we describe a stock control application in cold storage at -22 ° C:
